25-03-2013
SENSYS Traffic AB has obtained an order for speed and red-light enforcement from Sensys America, Inc. in the United States.
The order, worth SEK 11 million, is a call-off order for Washington DC. Delivery is estimated to be made in the second quarter 2013, and will be taken partly from existing inventories.
"It is really fantastic that the project in Washington DC is progressing at a rapid pace, thus enabling us to contribute more quickly to improved traffic safety in the US capital," says Johan Frilund, CEO of Sensys Traffic AB.
Sensys America, which is SENSYS Traffic AB's exclusive distributor in the United States, signed a framework agreement in October 2012 for the delivery of traffic safety systems for speed and red-light enforcement to Washington DC. This is the third suborder that Sensys has received within the framework of the agreement.
