Order from Sweden worth 2.8 MEUR

Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, has received an order worth 28 MSEK, corresponding to 2.8 MEUR from the Swedish Transport Administration.

This order covers systems and cabinets for traffic safety cameras to be established at new locations during 2017. Installation and commissioning of the traffic safety cameras are not included in this order and will be ordered separately in 2017 as the roll-out plan progresses. Deliveries according to this order are estimated to be done during the second half of 2017.

The 1 500 traffic safety cameras that were establish across Sweden at the end of 2015 are estimated to save 20-30 lives per year and reduce the amount of seriously injured people with 70 per year. The Transport Administration signed contracts with Sensys Gatso Group, covering deliveries of traffic safety cameras, in July 2013. The Transport Administration is placing orders yearly according to its internal planning process. This order is placed in accordance with this contract.
