Sensys Gatso wins 10-year contract for managed services in Ohio

14-12-2017

Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, has through its subsidiary Gatso USA, been selected to provide an automated speed enforcement program to a village in Ohio. The 10-year contract has expected sales of USD 700 thousand annually, corresponding to SEK 60 million over this contract period.

Sensys Gatso is taking over the automated speed enforcement program from a previous service provider.

The transition will take place in mid-February of 2018, when Sensys Gatso will install and implement its own camera technology. Under the new contract Sensys Gatso will be managing the entire speed program from camera installation and maintenance to citations mailing and payment handling using its proprietary Xilium back-office software.

Adding to the growing list of Sensys Gatso managed services programs in Ohio, the village will utilize fixed speed devices to issue speeding citations at roadways currently experiencing high crash rates.

“Gatso USA is looking forward to partnering with the village, where the Police Chief and village Officials are enthusiastic about important traffic safety programs such as this one.” says Andrew Noble, President, Gatso USA.
