Sensys Gatso receives an order from Qatar worth SEK 10 million

Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, has received an order for in-vehicle based traffic safety systems worth SEK 10 million from its partner KTC International Co. in Qatar.
This order is for the delivery of in-vehicle safety systems. The use of in-vehicle systems has proven to be a very effective way to reduce road casualties. The order is expected to be fully delivered in the latter half of 2018.
Sensys Gatso Group has been delivering traffic safety systems to Qatar since 2015, which have contributed to significant improvements to road safety in the country, in line with the Qatar National Traffic Safety Strategy (NTSS).
The region is characterized by knowledgeable and demanding customers, who are regularly procuring small to mid-size projects.
“This is our 2nd order from the same customer in 6 months. We have worked hard in the Middle East to not only sell our solutions, but also spread the “Vision Zero” concept through regular contacts and interactions with key authorities and universities. We are also excited to be the first company to introduce a reliable in-vehicle solution to Qatar. Enforcement units used in moving vehicles have a great impact on driver behaviour as they are unpredictable in time, location and nature. They can be deployed in large quantities rather fast without having to install fixed units on the roadsides” says Saman Alae Naziri, General Manager, Sensys Gatso Group MENA.
