Sensys Gatso Receives Five-Year TRaaS Contract Extension in Edgewood, Florida worth SEK 7 million
29-09-2020
Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions has, through its subsidiary Sensys Gatso USA, signed a five-year, TRaaS contract extension (allowing for two additional, single year extensions) with Edgewood, FL, valued at approximately $720K USD over the contract period, corresponding to SEK 7 million.
The partnership between Sensys Gatso and the City of Edgewood began in 2011, when red light cameras were installed at intersections with the highest traffic volumes and where traffic safety was an on-going concern. Encouraging safer driver habits and improving pedestrian safety has been a major police department objective since the beginning.
“The daily collaboration between the Police Department stakeholders and the team at Sensys Gatso has made this program a success. In addition to the camera technology and operational software, conscientious staff members are often the key to a program’s effectiveness and longevity”, says Andrew Noble, President of Sensys Gatso USA. “We are so pleased to be serving the City of Edgewood through the end of December, 2025”.
