Sensys Gatso receives five-year TRaaS contract, valued at SEK 12 million for speed photo enforcement in the Village of Mayfield, Ohio

Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, through its American subsidiary Sensys Gatso USA, has been selected by the Village of Mayfield, Ohio to provide an interstate speed camera safety program complete with software and fulfillment services. The estimated value of this fully managed service program is USD 1.5 million, corresponding to SEK 12 million, over the five-year period.
After approximately six months of working closely with village officials, Sensys Gatso USA has been chosen to provide Mayfield with its first photo enforcement program, making Mayfield the fifth client for Sensys Gatso in the greater Cleveland area. The expected timeframe for this new police officer handheld camera program to be up and running is late Q4 of 2021. While the length of this contract is for a five-year period, there are automatic annual extensions at the end of the initial term, subject to mutual agreement.
Mayfield is a village in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The village is officially named Mayfield, but is commonly referred to as Mayfield Village. Mayfield Village was originally part of Mayfield Township and is now a suburb of Cleveland. With Interstate-271 running through the village, Mayfield has significant traffic volumes and speed enforcement and traffic safety is a top priority. “Speed enforcement programs like this one will help to continue the hard work of Mayfield in providing a safe and thriving community for its residents”, says Andrew Noble, President of Sensys Gatso USA.
