Sensys Gatso receives TRaaS contract worth SEK 7.5 million for traffic safety in Marshalltown, IA; expands its footprint in the state

Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety systems, through its subsidiary, Sensys Gatso USA, has executed a five-year base-term contract with the City of Marshalltown, IA. The contract follows a competitive RFP selection of Sensys Gatso for an automated speed enforcement program in the city. The contract is estimated to be worth up to $750,000 corresponding to SEK 7.5 million over the contract period. The program is anticipated to begin in early 2023.
Capt. Chris Jones of the Marshalltown Police Department said: “As much as law enforcement agencies wish to be everywhere, community concerns are widespread. Having an automated traffic enforcement (ATE) program helps address potentially dangerous drivers in areas of the community that matter most.”
