Sensys Gatso receives TRaaS contract renewal for automated traffic safety in Muscatine, IA, worth SEK 16 million

To date, Sensys Gatso has been successfully operating the program for more than 12 years in Muscatine. The City has decided to extend the partnership for a further 7 years. The program consists of owning, maintaining, operating the enforcement systems and processing the violations. Sensys Gatso will receive service fees for these activities which are volume dependent and are estimated to be worth approximately SEK 16 million over the 7 year contract period.

This contract renewal includes an upgrade of existing fixed speed and redlight cameras as well as a new mobile speed enforcement vehicle. The contract also has the possibility for expansion of systems in Muscatine, further improving road and traffic safety. In the state of Iowa, Sensys Gatso USA has 13 contracted automated traffic enforcement programs.
