Sensys Gatso Group appoints new CEO

The Board of Directors of Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, has appointed Ivo Mönnink as new Chief Executive Officer. Ivo Mönnink will assume his new role as of October 1, 2017. The current CEO Torbjörn Sandberg will step down on the same day, but remain at the company’s disposal until March 30, 2018.

Update on Latvia - Sensys Gatso receives order

Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, has received an order from its partner at a value of EUR 440 thousand, corresponding to 4,3 MSEK. This order is the result of the award letter announced on June 2nd from the Latvian State Police (VP) to Sensys Gatso and Reck.

Sensys Gatso and Ricardo Rail signs strategic agreement for the rail market

Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, and Ricardo Rail has signed a strategic agreement for sales and manufacturing of the APMS product (Automatic Pantograph Monitoring System) to the global rail market. Sensys Gatso has entered into this agreement, that does not contain any committed values, in order to improve its focus on the road traffic business.

Order from Sweden worth 17 MSEK

Sensys Gatso Group AB, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, has received an order from the Swedish Transport Administration worth 17 MSEK. The order covers speed enforcement systems fortunnels and spare parts to existing installations of speed enforcement systems.

Iowa court has decided to suspend speed enforcement on Interstate Highways

Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions will suspend the interstate speed enforcement services in Iowa effective immediately, following the decision of the Iowa District Court in Polk County which now allows the Iowa Department of Transportation to determine camera purpose and placement. The revenue from the affected speed enforcement program is USD 2,8 million per year, corresponding to SEK 24,5 million. The effect on 2017 is expected to be negative USD 1,9 million, corresponding to SEK 16,6 million on forecasted annual revenue.
