Selective short-cut Enforcement

Drivers are often quite creative in finding cut-through or rat-run routes to avoid congestion, traffic lights or just shorten their trip by taking a short-cut via narrow often residential roads. This driving behaviour may clash with traffic management policies and often causes safety concerns and distress with residents and their children along the shorter route.

Our Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) based system issues violations to all or certain vehicles that are not allowed in a particular street or route. Vehicles owned by residents, public transport, emergency vehicles can be white-listed and pre-cleared through the Sensys Gatso Xilium back-office software and will not be registered as violators.
