Sensys Gatso Group appoints new CEO

The Board of Directors of Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, has appointed Ivo Mönnink as new Chief Executive Officer. Ivo Mönnink will assume his new role as of October 1, 2017. The current CEO Torbjörn Sandberg will step down on the same day, but remain at the company’s disposal until March 30, 2018.

With Ivo’s strong business experience and proven leadership, I and the board have found a very suitable leader for the next phase in the company’s development. Ivo will be instrumental in leading the group into its next phase and facilitate further growth”, says Claes Ödman, Chairman of Sensys Gatso and continues:

“I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Torbjörn Sandberg. Torbjörn has been very important for the integration of Sensys Traffic AB and Gatso Beheer BV, and has successfully completed the development of the core of our platform.”

Ivo Mönnink has an international commercial background from Unilever and Nike and has previously served as CEO of several companies, including Hitec Power Protection and FERM.

The Board of Directors has conducted a European search through one of the top global search firms.

Ivo Mönnink will join Sensys Gatso on October 1, 2017.
